I really love this photo of *Theelfinartist & I but it seemed to mellow to be a battle-esque photo so I'm labeling it as TRAINING. AHAH. Yup Yukio and Bon are doin' some target practice!

"Practice Makes Perfect" because I need to practice my hand sings, "I MADE A "W" gosh I wish I had a better memory for these things!~

You have such a perfect Bon cosplay! ;A; Just wondering, did you buy it or make it yourself? :meow:

Thanks!!! I actually found everything second hand! X'D
I made the cross academy crest out of vinyl and sewed it onto the vest, The tie was just painted stripes!

xD Awesome~
What kind of paint did you use for the tie? acrylic or some sort of fabric paint? Sorry if I'm annoying with all these questions x'D I'm just planning on cosplaying (lol crossplaying) Bon some day in the future~ :> Except I'll be making the academy jacket and a Karura poseable doll prop~ 8D I'm not really used to sewing clothing (I'm used to making fullsuits - [link] I made the one on the right) and I was wondering if you have any experiences with making your own clothing for cosplay! :D And maybe give some pointers to a rookie? XD

Thank you so much for your help Saiaphi~! <3

Haha, I just used acrylic cuz it does on nicer and I'm cheap.
For the jacket (I actually own one) Just take a regular blazer and add white trim. Like i said you can either make a patch for the symbol outta vinyl or you can embroider it.

As for the vest I actually made one as a commission but the person never paid for it so I'll be putting it up for sale soon. (if your interested you can have dibs)

As far as making costumes. THRIFT STORE IS UR BAST FRAND. Try to alter pre-made clothing, it's cheap and easy!!! LOOKS JUST AS GOOOOOD as hand sewing it. XD

I'll see if I can buy the vest from you~ how much do you plan to sell it for?
And I'm guessing it's like the one in this pic? :>

That's a really good idea! I'll go see if the local thrift store has anything~ XD

Thank you again~ ;D

I'm not sure...the thing is that I won't be cosplaying Bon until the end of Summer (2013) x'D not only that, I have to save up as much money as I can for my current secret Pokemon costume project (pfffff +$400 ._____." that kind of money's hard to get for someone too young for a job....hehe.... ) But I'll see what I can do~ ;P

And keep up with the amazing cosplay work!~ <3 Can't wait to see more awesomeness! ;D
